Since 1990, Pepperoni’s has served customers throughout the Greater Houston Area. As the rapidly expanding customer base that couldn’t seem to get enough of Pepperoni’s New York style pizza, expansion was imminent. Over the next 20+ years, Ray Salti, Pepperoni’s founder and CEO responded to the increasing demand and expanded the brand to 14 locations, all while also founding other restaurant concepts including and focusing on philanthropic efforts throughout the area. This experience, plus previous experience gained in one of the world’s leading cities for restaurants, New York City – some consider NYC the pizza capital of the world – has helped set the foundation to introduce Pepperoni’s into franchising.
With a proven business model that has evolved to include leading restaurant technology, addresses growing issues in day-to-day operations including labor management, and improved food quality based upon resourcing of high-quality ingredients, Ray and his team knew they had the basis for a successful franchise brand. To further ensure franchise success for Mom & Pop and sophisticated restaurant operators alike, systems and processes were developed and documented to enhance the customer AND franchisee experience. Construction is underway on a new corporate facility that will include franchise administration, training and other functions. Timing could not be better as the Pepperoni’s franchise opportunity officially launched in May 2019.
